Privacy Policy

What we store

• Your email address, supplied by the sign-in provider. It identifies your purchases and is the only personal identifier held.
• What you have purchased, and the order and payment records for those purchases.
• What you have watched and how far, so playback resumes where you stopped.
• Your saved list.

What we do not store

We never see or store your password, card number, UPI ID, or bank details. Payments are processed by Razorpay, which handles those directly; Cineflix receives only a payment identifier and whether the payment succeeded.

Who your data is shared with

Nobody, other than Razorpay for the purpose of processing a payment you initiated. Data is not sold, and is not transferred to advertisers or data brokers.

Where it is stored

On self-hosted servers in a private residence in India. Data in transit is encrypted with TLS. Video is streamed from a private media server that is not reachable from the public internet — every request for it passes through an authorisation check first.

Deleting your data

You can delete your purchases, watch history and saved list at any time from the Account screen, in the app or on the website. See account deletion for exactly what is removed and what is kept.

Children

Cineflix is not directed at children under 13 and accounts are not knowingly created for them.
